The Atlas for the Hanging Swamps of the Blue Mountains is a design research project conducted from August to October 2023, dedicated to documenting and deepening our understanding of the unique hanging swamp ecosystems in the Blue Mountains, especially in urban-adjacent areas. This project explores the often-hidden presence of swamps, identifying indicators that signal these ecosystems even without visible standing water, and tracing the changes that shape these landscapes over time.
